Did you know that having properly inflated tires can give you better gas mileage? Better gas mileage means that you will save money on gas. But your tires don’t just need to be properly inflated. When you inspect your tires, you need to look at how the tread is worn—if it’s worn more along the inside or the outside of your tires then you will need to get an alignment to correct that problem?

When do you know when it’s time for new tires? There’s a simple test you can do to find that out. Just take a penny, and insert it into the tread of your tire—head first. If you can see Lincoln’s head, then it’s time for new tires. It’s also a good idea to get your tires rotated regularly to extend your tires’ life. Your owner’s manual will tell you how often to get that maintenance done.
