Seeing the road when it’s dark or raining should be one of your top priorities while driving, and maintaining your headlights is one of the easiest ways to improve visibility. Light bulbs burn out, but there are other reasons that you might find it difficult to see in front of your car. At Holler Honda, we want you to know about two other ways that you can maintain your headlights.

Headlights can develop a haze on the surface of the plastic that houses the bulb. The film disperses the light so that the beam isn’t as bright. You can, however, get rid of the haze by having a professional restore the surface.

If the housing unit is cracked or the seal is broken, you will need to replace it. Moisture can build up on the inside of the unit, which can make the beam of light less intense. A professional can properly install this for you, too.
